Blackwell has been developing with FileMaker since 1986. His importance to the community can be summed up by pointing out that he was the first person to receive the FileMaker Excellence Award in 1998, is one of only two people to win the award twice to date. FileMaker also awarded him the "Mad Dog" Recognition Award for efforts to generate positve PR regarding FileMaker. Steven has been a contributor to both printed and on-line journals, and has authored and edited numerous books, the latest of which is "FileMaker Security - The Book" - available at www.filemakersecurity.com.
